What Drones can see from 17,500 ft This is cutting edge technology and, and  photography.  This imagery is taken from 17,500 feet up.  That is roughly equal to 3-1/2 miles.  These images could be you.....or me.  If you are doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about....at least for today.  The fact that this technology could be applied to our private lives has troubling potential.
